Privacy policy

Sterk Solutions B.V. runs Hammer History and is responsible for what it keeps about you. This page says what that is, why, and what you can ask of us. Last changed 14 October 2026.

What we keep and why

Your account: your e-mail address, your name if you gave one, and when you logged in. Logging in runs through Clerk, which keeps your password or passkey; we never see it. We need this to know whose prices are open.

What you opened and bought: which sales and models are open to your account, your subscription, and when. We need this to show you what you paid for, and to answer a question about a payment.

What you did on the site: your searches, the lots you saved, and which pages and buttons you used on the way to opening a price. We use this to see what works on the site and to show you your own history. A visitor without an account is counted under a code that changes every day and names nobody.

Mail: if you switch it on, we mail you the day before a lot you saved closes. Every mail carries a link that switches it off.

Server logs: the address your browser came from and what it asked for, kept for a short time to keep the site running and safe.

Who else sees it

Paddle takes every payment as our reseller: it gets your e-mail address, your name and what you bought, and keeps the card and the invoice itself. For the payment Paddle is responsible under its own privacy policy. Clerk handles the login. SendGrid sends the mail. The site itself runs on our own server in the European Union. We do not sell your data and we show no advertising. The site sets one cookie, for your login; there are no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.

How long

Your account and what is open to it, for as long as the account exists. What you did on the site, up to two years. Invoices stay with Paddle for as long as tax law requires. When you close your account, write to us and we delete it within a month, except what the law makes us keep.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, get a copy of it, or object to our use of it. Write to daan@sterksolutions.nl; a person answers. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
